does anyone know how the edge of this was wrapped

Does any know how this edge was wrapped? Steamed? Vac pressed? I’ll have to go and take a look at it myself, but I just don’t see where an end seam would be. The radius is quite tight on the ends as well. Would it be a soft wood like birch or something?

Just a guess, but if it were me, I'd probably use veneer over a steamed lamination base.
Yes, I'm just confused about the round over. That must be a seperate piece?
The top edge
Yes, the top edge appears to be a separate piece, since the face grain of the apron doesn't extend into that area.
Looks to me like the lower apron is veneer and then trimmed with a solid piece that was steamed or maybe the bendable wood frmo fluted beams. http://www.flutedbeams.com/buycoldbendhardwood.html
