When mixing dye from powder, Moser, does it matter if you use tap water or should you use distilled? Keep in mind I have well water which is high in minerals. Thanks.

I use tap water, not from a well, and have no issues. But it's a pretty small amount of water. If I was worried, I'd just pick up a gallon of distilled and use that.
Its probably not a big deal, but I use the water saved from my dehumidifier, which is pretty much demineralized.
Great idea. Dehumidifier water is by definition distilled water.
You saved me a 30 min round trip to the store.
New news - my dehumidifier water is full of mold and stuff.
You could run it trough a coffee filter, but I get that the more work you have to do the less useful it is.
Try tap & distilled. If both work equally well you can save on travel expenses.
