I am looking for plans for furniture for 16″ dolls. The only thing that I have found so far is a book on Amazon. Has anyone built doll furniture?

I suppose there are some sources for doll furniture plans. Sorry I don't have any to suggest. One option you might try, though, is to draw up full size pieces in SketchUp (or another drawing program) and then scale them down to the desired size. It would be quick and easy to do. As an example, I made a doll-sized version of Gary Rogowski's Arts and Crafts Bed in about 5 seconds. I already had the bed drawn of course but changing the scale wasn't a problem at all.

My father used to build doll houses and furniture, if he couldn’t find plans for the things he was looking for he would buy the doll furniture kits and scale up the dimensions to get the sizes he needed.
But do a search on doll furniture and doll houses on the web. There are plenty of sources out there, just need to find the one your looking for.
Search Knots for post 45664.1. It's a one-third scale of plans in Norm Vandal's book of Queen Anne furniture. It was my winter project last year. (Our winters are very long).
I also have a plan of a Shaker Rocker (Doll size). The original plan uses dowels pruchased from a home center. You can use ribbon to weave the seat. I can email it to you if you like.
