This is my first post on Knots (normally on Breaktime). My wife has given me the cover of Country Living magazine, september of 2000 which shows a three story miniature house, what I would call a “Plantation ” style place. She said she thought the article described it as a bird house but it looks more like a doll house to me. Bottom line is she wants me to make it for her! Does anyone out there know where I could have some sort of plan drawn based on the picture? I could probably do it but I know that there would be alot of trial and error involved on my part. It is apparently a very old piece (late 1800’s) so I doubt if there are any contemporary plans available. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If it's a birdhouse that looks like a mansion, it may be a Martin house. We don't have them here in the Northwest, but I've seen lots of plans and pictures for the areas where they do live.
If, indeed, it's a dollhouse, that's a whole 'nother matter.
