I have seen Mike Pekovich use his table saw method to cut dovetails on several videos. I understand that his blade has a 7 1/2 degree grind. Does anyone know if he uses a regular or thin kerf blade? Thanks

I imagine regular. Those blades are not typical so I think you will be limited in options regarding thickness.
I would think you could use either type of blade as the person that grinds the blade is the determining factor.
I got a thin kerf blade reground by Burns Tools for dovetails - works great and can get narrower dovetails...!
That's what I was thinking...a smaller kerf can cut a slot for a smaller pin. Thanks
Has anyone had custom angles ground? Burns, among others, can do any angle. I like 14 degrees for dovetails. I'm wondering if the angle at the blade tips will be too acute at 14 degrees.
Call Quinn Saw Sharpening in Saint Louis. They will provide a great and sharp dovetail blade to your specs. I have one, full kerf and sharp, works perfectly. Use a rip blade to maintain a flat bottom. They will grind one of your blades or provide one they manufacture. The sharpening service is really good and very reasonable.

Forrest Saw Blades has both regular and thin kerf blades. I imagine they would grind a blade you already have.
