looking to buy a dovetail jig with through and half blind. easy setup is important to me. anyone have a preference?

I have a sears hand me down, My father give me years ago. I'm about ready to give it away to the junk. It only has a capacity to make 8" deep drawers and right now Hartvilletool.com has two on sale until April 30/05 , 20% off. The 12" is listed at $99.99 and the 18" $149.99. But I don't build that many drawers to spend that much , and I don't have a wife to consult with. It's been so long since I used the sears jug , I had a 1/4 inch of dust on it. I priced a Porta-cable a few years ago, ya take out a loan or have a gold card to purchase one.
