I have a dowelling jig made by the Dowel Craft Company in San Jose, California. The model number is DC-125, about 20 years old. It’s getting worn and I’ve tried to replace it but can find no trace of the maker or anyone who sells this jig. Does anyone know of this company or where I may still find a replacement? By the way, I’ve used several dowelling jigs and this one is the best by far. Thanks.

No idea on what it looks like, I would help... I'm just a cnc machinist and I made my own...
Dowel Jig DC-125
There is one on ebay:

I just got a brand new one (never used and in great shape) a few days ago from craigslist. I would like to try it first and see how it works.

Thank You
MLCS & Eagle America have a few. I like those and my Milescraft.
Anyone sell their Woodpeck ultimate doweling jig?
The best doweling jig by far is the DOWELMAX.
I have no financial interest in the company but I am a DELIGHTED user of this amazing super-precision jig.
I agree
Would you choose it over the Jessum?
Me? Milescraft is the 1st one I bought and I like it enough to not try others?
Remember 1 very important thing - we all have our own preferences. Use the jig you like most. Folks here can give you great input.
And, inexpensive (cheap) doesn't necessarily mean garbage despite what you might've heard. Take it from someone on a fixed income who won't spend $400 on an item when a $200 one will do.

Me, after being frustrated with all the various small dowel jigs found a Marples 148 like this...
https://www.amazon.com/Marples-MARPLES-M148-DOWLING-JIG/dp/B082Q61S3S
the beauty of this is if you get the long arms, and maybe an extra set of holders or two, you can dowel a whole cabinet gable with precision. Not easy to do with the current dowel jig offerings!
Although I haven't bought one for years (I think I have three sets of them)----I hate dowels---when I do have to use it I know it is reliable
You won't find these at the borgs....Why would they sell you something reliable?
