I am building a desk for my daughter and the center drawer front is hinged so that it can accomadate a key board. I am struggling with finding the best method to keep the drawer front closed when it is not being used. I believe a magnetic catch would work but I don’t like the looks of the cheap plastic ones. Can any one guide me to a supplier that has a brass covered magnetic catch or suggest a better catch mechanism?
Thank you all.

Redoy ,
You could use a touch latch , the type designed for glass doors and such . Usually they come in a Black finish , if you place it up high it would be out of sight . They have a magnetic end that mates to a striker .
Also you could possibly use a hinge designed for tip down fronts like we use in front of sinks , but some open down more . We used to use a pair of self closing hinges mounted below .
good luck dusty
Have you considered a small bullet catch? Brassy and Classy. I think they feel better than a magnet.
