I’m building a set of cabinets for a friend. They will have 16 drawers for CD/DVD storage. I’m looking for drawer slides with the side built on, like these from Rockler, http://www.rockler.com/product.cfm?page=10067
Sadly, these are only 3/4, I really think full extension is needed.
I’ve seen the Blum Tandembox, but they’re a little pricy.
Any suggestions?

Try Blum metabox they might be an option not as pricey as Tandembox or try Blum full extension slides for solid drawers.Blum make an excellent drilling jig for fitting your draw fronts to these systems.

Duh! I didn't notice the Metabox had a full extension option...I guess that reading really IS fundamental!
I don`t know if it will suit your purpose its Metabox 330 full extension 86mm high side and lengths 270 to 550mm.

For full extension slides, I have been using Accurides since forever.
They probably have the most comprehensive line -- from light to heavy duty.

Which Accurides have integral drawer sides?
I don't think any of them do. Grass has such slides -- I think they're call Zargen, or something like that. I have never used them, and most like they are 3/4 extension.********************************************************

When clients say that those Blum slides are "a little pricey", I usually say something like the following:
"You're going to put $500 worth of CD's in that drawer. Don't you think they deserve slides that cost the equivalent of one CD?"

Try these at Shock Metal: http://shopping.netsuite.com/buyschockslides.
I bought 30 pairs a few months back. They are as good as the more expensive Accuride slides.
Click on the "Products on Sale" button. Scroll to the middle of the page. They may have something you can use.
