This sounds like something to submit to our Methods of Work department. To do that, send an email to [email protected] with a written description and a photo/illustration, and the editor will consider it for publication.
Otherwise, feel free to post in Knots under the folder "Tips, Tricks, Jigs and Fixtures." I'm sure some folks there would love to see it.
