HEY.FOLKS. NEW TO THIS SITE .I WAS LOOKING AT THE NEW TOOL GUIDE WAS READING THE CORDLESS DRILL COMPARISON. THEY DIDN’ TEST RIGID. IWAS CONSIDERING GETTING THE RIGID 14V. HAS ANY ONE USED IT BEFORE? THE REASON I AS THINKING OF RIGID IS THE TOOL GUARANTEE IS LIFETIME, WHICH NON OF THE OTHERS OFFER A LIFETIME GUARANTEE. THANKS!!

Never used Rigid tools. Best cordless drill I have used is the Panosonic. Wish I owned one. Buy a tool depending on it's intended use. If your needs for a cordless drill is for around the home, most brands will do. If you use it everyday at work buy the best tool you can afford.

Hi chappy, and welcome to the forums.
The rigid 14v. is as good as any for diy needs and you can't beat the warrantee. I want to mention though, typing in all capitol letters is considered bad forum etiquet, sort of like hollering and yelling. And there's no need to color all the words, we can read them just fine without it. But remember, like having your barndoor open, only a real pal would tell ya.
