| Iam looking to buy a grizzly double drum sander are these any good the price is good and my shop is not a production shop just a home work shop the sander will see moderate use with an occasional kitchen cabinet doors small music boxes etc. | |

I had a drum sander 15 years ago and was happy to see it go. If you are just using it for home use it will be fine.My experience was that it seemed I was always changing the paper and it was a pain. I ran a sanding cleaner over it but it was still a pain. I was using it in a production setting so I used it alot. I use a bridgewood open end 15 inch belt sander now and it is great.

I have a Grizzly 24" VS sander. I think it is a great deal for the price. I found besides using belt cleaning sticks that Automotive Brake Clean works on cleaning of the belts.
