I am installing dust collection in my new shop. I have a three foot crawl space under a wood framed floor. The syestem I have is 2hp 220 volt with a 6inch out let. Can I safely use pvc pipe and fittings.? If I do use pvc what kind and size of flex pipe should I use?

We published an article a few years back called "PVC Pipe Dangers Debunked" that refuted many of the claims against using PVC for dust collection. That article suggests using 4-in. diam. pipe.
I need to ask around for more details on your other questions. I'll post again on Wednesday.
