Well I am banned from my cave this evening as my wife has hung up 3 loads of wet laundry through the middle of my shop. (oh the indignity)
She seems to get upset when I put several pounds of fine sawdust into the atmosphere. It does keep her out of the basement though.

Seriously I need to get a dust collection system. I have done some research and found that the cyclone systems to be a good way to go. Is there anyone out there who installed this type of dust collection system? I have a table saw, shaper, planer, joiner and a miter saw and produce prodigious amounts of wood shavings when I actually do some work.

The only problem I see with the cyclone units is the capacity of the dust barrels and the height of the units, typically 8 feet and of course the cash outlay.
