I just set up my Penn. State. table saw guard and dust collector it works great and also my Grizzly 2hp dust collector canister. I can breath again,its all about your health you can always make money so play it safe.

I felt the same way when I hooked up my Fein vacuum to my random orbital sander... I couldn't believe the difference... then when I unhooked the vacuum and sanded without it I couldn't believe I sanded that way for 15 years... there was a huge dust cloud in my shop.... One of those products I should have bought a long long time ago.
I have the Penn State guard also, and really like it. Do you have yours on the side, or mounted from the ceiling??
It's mounted on the side, i also purchased a Festool 150 Rotex sander and Ct 22 dust extractor. For me it's a great amount of money especially since i have not seen a profit in my business in 2yrs. but it's getting better and my lungs are worth every penny and so are yours.
I totally agree about the lungs! The last "upgrade" I did to help them was improving the router-table collection. A rudimentary cabinet, but it utilizes the Penn State boom to bring DC to the router. I just disconnect the blade guard hose, and connect the router table hose, thusly:
