   Why does it need to be clear plastic? Would a black lawn/leaf bag work?

   There is a window that helps you see when the bag is getting full - you can't see that if the bag isn't clear... it's amazing how quickly it fills up when planing lumber.

   I have a Jet, with the clear bottom bag. I don't know if they are the same size as the Laguna. But mine last for a whole bunch of emptyings before needing to be replaced. I dump full bags into the large paper lawn and leaf bags for curbside pickup. They won't take sawdust or chips in plastic.

   I get Jet bags on Amazon. Offbrands are a little cheaper, but I haven't tried them. If they don't last as long as the Jet, they'll just end up costing me more.
