I am looking at buying a dust collector for my small shop. The two in my price range and space allotment are the Jet DC-650 and the Delta AP-400. I noticed that the Jet hose enters the impeller from the top and the Delta from the bottom. They both have the same CFM with the Delta having a static pressure of .2 greater than the Jet. Is there a real difference or should I go with the best price?

I have the Jet 650 and it does OK but if I were starting over, I would go with a 1100 - 1200 cfm setup. My setup has four branches with blast gates at each branch. The 650 cfm gets most of the mess, but a higher flow rate would definitely be better.
