What are you guys using for dust masks? Does anyone have any experience with the Dust Be Gone? Does it filter out as much as a good paper mask?

The mask is probably better than a "good paper mask" as that is an oxymoron. There is no paper mask that offers much protection. In fact, any mask that does not seal firmly against the face misses at least 50% of the dust.
If you want protection, get a mask that has NIOSH approval for the type of dust or airborne contaminates that you are conserned about. Then, be sure it fits correctly and that you use the correct cartidges.
I probably need to get one. What is the minimum one needs for working wood, say the really dusty stuff like padauk?

I've spent years buying and trying different masks for whatever I was working with, fumes or dust.I finally bought a supplied air respirator and I love it.It doesn't matter if I'm spraying finish, useing paint remover,or sanding wood one mask does it all.The air it supplies is cool so it even helps on those hot days.It was expensive but I think my lungs are worth it.
