DW625 – Anyone table mount this????
I bought a DW625 a few years ago. I love the soft start and the power, but it is just too awkward for most handrouting applications — at least for me. The only way I will get any use out of it is mounting it in a table. I’d like to do it with a router lift, but most of those I like (Woodpecker, Mast-R-Lift, etc) won’t accept a plunge router.
Wondering what set-ups others with the DW625 have used and how you like it? Also, how can you use a large panel raising bit with this router. The base plate doesn’t accomodate too easily.
thanks,
Bob

I have a DW625 and it spends most of it's time in the table. I bought the DW acc'y depth adjuster and it works just fine, albeit it slow to make large adjustments. It's attached to a lexan insert which doubles nicely as an oversized base when I use it freehand. Can't speak to big panel raisers 'cause I don't use them.
