What, if any, Easter eggs have you put in your work? I don’t mean dyed chicken eggs; I mean hidden, often whimisical, additions that have nothing to do with the piece [see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Easter_egg_(virtual)].
My Easter eggs have been like grafitti: Wall messages and pictures painted behind mounted cabinets, a newspaper inside a wall, etc. But no woodworking eggs so far.
FWW had an article on a craftman who insets a contemporary coin into his furniture (sorry, can’t remember his name). Technically, it’s not an Easter egg because it’s not hidden or secret, but I’m not a stickler on that point. Maker’s marks would qualify.

Other than boot-prints on the ceiling sheet-rock of my old tack room, none. But I have an old wooden Stanley Sweetheart level (#0) that has a 1983 penny in it. Methinks the penny was added quite after the level was made.
