I am cutting Eastern Red Cedar trees off my farm. I want to use the large logs in a new house. I have seen the logs peeled of their bark and bleached then sealed. Where can I find out how to finish these logs? Also I am cutting the small cedars for outdoor fence post. I would like to keep the bark on them. Can I seal them so the bark will not come off or do I have to peel and seal them also? Thanks Dottieboz
