I'm assuming the main portion is a veneered substrate. Glue your edging to it using biscuits or splines or whatever your thing is (I really don't want to start "the biscuit issue" again). They should be fit individually into place, even if you think they are all identical. Then rough cut outside the circle line with a jigsaw. Set up your router with a straight bit on a compass arm to trim the final circle. You can do this from the underside of the table quite easily using a screw at the center point of the circle.
