Need help locating an electrical switch that will turn on my shop vac when I use my miter saw. I now have the vac hooked up to catch the cuttings from the saw, but I must remember to turn in on before I start the saw. While thinking about the cut I’m going to make I often forget to turn on the vac, so the area is showered with sawdust. Does anyone know where I can but such a switch?

I think a lot of the better vacs have a receptacle that you can plug the saw into. when the saw is energized, the vacuum is energized also. I am sure there are relay switches designed just for this purpose.
Sears has a gadget called a 'Craftsman Auto Switch'. Exactly what you are looking for: $20.00.
