I'm with you, sir, and am further frustrated by the "broken" unsubscribe link (it's been broken for ages), which is (or should be) illegal.
WallynSC - you should be able to unsub from promotional emails. Then you'd only get our editorial newsletters on Wednesday and Saturday.
ccaylor - Can you forward me an email with a broken unsub link? That should not be happening. [email protected]
Hello, Mr. Strano, and thank you. Technically I'm in error: it's the web page the link sends me to that's broken, not the link at the bottom of the email in 2 point type. When I get to the web page, the link in the left column towards the bottom titled See All Email Subscriptions is unresponsive. Actually, I see all the others are too, having just this minute tried them.
That page's URL is: http://fm.e.taunton.com/ats/show.aspx?cr=694&fm=31&bc=FW&source=W10313EM&tp=i-1NGB-BC-KNl-14A4ht-1o-1Ub0-1c-14AeKU-l4UifnicGI-20b1Rt&sourcekey=W10313EM&utm_source=email&utm_medium=emarketing&cid=78353&mid=977639553.
That's interesting because it works for me... and with YOUR email prefs. I'm signing you up for everything! (joke!)
What I'm always amazed at is the links both on the site, and in email, inviting me to either subscribe to the magazine, become an unlimited member or similar. It seems the "smarts" aren't enough in the system to realise I am an unlimited member, with both digital and print edition subscriptions...
All that said, the content is always good, and I trust the entire Fine Woodworking team are safe, well and healthy in these troubled times!
Haha, Mr. Strano
Every other page I've been to on the site works fine, just not this one, and I've tried at least a half dozen times over the past 6 months or so. It's a mystery to me.
