There is a used Enco 150-4245 (20”) and an Enco 150-4100 (15”) for sale locally. I can’t find any reviews on these planers. If anyone has or used these planers please let what you think of them. Also if anyone has links for reviews please post them.

I've used other Enco metalworking machinery and they are ok. As far as the woodstuff if you need reviews to buy machines you should stick with the other more established ones like Grizzly, ShopFox, York.
The Enco woodoworking stuff is pretty generic and will easily slip under the review radar screens. The service and tech help is going to be sprotty at best. If you know how to adjust and repair macines you can make them perform fine especially if you put some better knives in them. Parts are not as readily stocked so that might be a stumbling block.
If the machine is priced good and looks in good shape you might want to try it but if you don't know much about tweaking them you are better getting somethong with support. Lots of folks try to save a buck by mailorder but some folks are better going with a reputable dealer and paying more. Far cheaper in the long run to have the service and parts readily available.
I have an Enco 15in planer and have used it for over ten years. Not one problem has happened with it, and am pleased with the job it does. Have just added a Woodmaster planer/molder, but will keep the Enco for the rough planing.
Enco 15" Planer
Does anyone know where one can get a copy of the users manual for an Enco 15" thickness planer? I inherited one from my father-in-law and need some help on all the knobs and lubrication points.
