When running my stock though the joiner it has the tendency to clip off the end of my stock,what can i do to pervent this from happening again. Please can any one help.

Snipe. Raise the outfeed table until it is exactly the same height as the top of the arc described by the cutters in the block. Is this the only problem you've noticed? There should be some more, like a definite convex step or two on the edge or face. This should cure it anyway.
Go through posts in the main forum looking for jointer problem questions. There are two or three current, and my simplistic solution above is not the entire answer. The posts I'm sending you to look for discuss such problems and technique in greatar detail. Invaluable for a beginner.
