Haven't tried them myself but have a few friends who like them. I'd contact Esta for some referrals. Grizzly sells them as well.
I've looked into it but I can get four 24" planer blades sharpened for $32 versus 4 Esta knives for $80 which is really $40 per change as it has 2 edges. So it actually costs me $8 more to use the Esta and I can literally change the knives as fast as the Esta with my system so the savings isn't really there for me.
As far as jointers go I can change a knife in 5 minutes on a 20" jointer with my dial indicator. For someone with less practice the Esta would be a good way to go. Esta has been around for many years so i wouldn't worry. The time savings would be worth it for most people.
