Has anyone used the Excalibur slideing table? Is it worth the money or does it take up to much space for the amount of use that it would get.

I had one on the large Excalibers on a 14" saw. I wasn't very impressed. You remove the table extension to the left of the blade and have to move or cut the fence rails. The frame extends past the saw towards the operator and I found it confining and annoying.
I always felt I needed to make a test cut to see if the slider was cutting accurately. A knock on a leg could have an effect. Moving the fence on the slider to an angle was a pain and also needed multiple test cuts. You couldn't trust the stops to be accurate and moving the fence wasn't smooth. Crosscutting/mitering wide material would quickly expose any small discrepancy. Throwing a full, heavy sheet up there could knock things out.
If you only have one saw for all your work, you may not like that huge contraption hanging out. You'll also be removing and replacing the sliding table since it will be in the way for other processes. I find it much easier to rough cut sheets to a manageable size on saw horses and use the saw's fence for finish cuts.
Beat it to fit / Paint it to match
Thanks ,thats what I wanted to know.
There's also the Exactor. One of the brands I know has 2 sizes of add on sliders. I've used them and I know of 6 other shops with them. They are a little finicky but have found them to cut accurately and repeatable. There's also the Jessem and Laguna's add on slider and folks have also used the Dewalt slider.
