I have an extremely small shop and am in need of a table saw and jointer. So I have been doing some surfing on the internet and ran across Eurekazone homer page where they talked about their EZ Smart Guide System. This looks quiet interesting. So, I was wondering if anyone out there has used one of these? If so feedback would really be appreciated.

Try entering "EZ Smart" in the Search Messages box at the bottom of the message index column. You will be rewarded with a veritable plethora of information.

I agree with one of the previous posters. You will find plenty of information if you search Knots. Some of these earlier discussions have spiraled out of control and we don't want to go there right now.
Generally speaking though, you can make straight cuts on solid wood lumber and sheet goods using a circular saw and some sort of straight edge, whether its a commercial version or a shopmade one. If you are really short on space, it's a great place to start.
However, this should not be considered a total replacement for a tablesaw or a jointer, both of which can make a huge variety of cuts with ease and accuracy.
Thanks,
Matt Berger
