I’d like to get some feedback on anybody that’s had furniture reupholstered recently.
We’ve got 4 dining chairs and a table that we’re gonna have stripped, refinished, and the chairs upholstered.
We’ve been looking at millions of samples of Olefin, Nylon, Polyester, etc. We’ve been told Olefin is the best on clean up of stains. We definitely do not want leather.
Thanks for your suggestions.

They all work well. Scotch guard is great stuff. I would be more concerned with the wear rating of the material.

Tom,
My wife and I have swapped out the fabric on our dining chairs three times now over the past 10 years. We are about to do it again and replace the wood frames with solid ply...as was recently published in FWW. Replacing the material only on our chairs takes about 10 min per chair with an automatic stapler. She get the fabrics at the fabric store...I'm not part of that process...
Our chairs are Chippendale design and they have a seat that drops into the frame....perhaps your are different

Use a fabric with a little 'give' in the weave, so you can pull and form the corners and not have the uncomfortable 'fold' at the corners. Stein.
