Would like to hear from a couple of you about face frames and the carcase. Do you hold the face frame flush or a little proud of the case? Just curious!

Depends on the situation, but 9 times out of 10, I hold the case to the inside of the frame opening. This allows for easy installation of modern hardware, and leaves a good amount for a scribe.
All depends on the cabinet..and if you are talking about outside or inside..outside I hold finished ends as close as possible to the carcass..leaving room for sanding..scribe ends I leave 3/8-1/2 depending on situation..inside frame clearence I like to leave 1/4..I always try and design the cabinet so the reveals are all equal...hope this helps..

Thanx guys!
