   To remove an article from favorites.. click on the article under the "Favorites" then click the same icon you use to add the article to remove the article from Favorites.

   For a list.. go to the list.. click article... click add to List.. uncheck the list the article is in that you want to remove it from.

   From your favorites page, open the article you wish to remove. Touch the save to favorites icon (the same icon you used previously to save the article) near the top of the page. This should “undo” the save and remove the article from your favorites.
   In my experience, the save to favorites icon does not work reliably, and I sometimes have to try multiple times before an article will save or be removed.

   I spent quite a bit of time on this last night and thought I had tried everything. Obviously I hadn't. That seems to work. Go figger. I'm with you in that I don't think this is by design and probably needs attention.

   Okay. I've missed something. Where would I find this "favorites" page? I'm always having to dig back to re-find something I saw before. I gotta get out from under this rock more often.

   I'll try. When viewing an article, near the top of the article are some items that allow you to share with others on social media, email and the last one to save to your favorites. Please refer to the attachment (Sharing.png). I've highlighted it. In the upper right portion of the screen is your Account pull-down menu. Again, refer to the other attachment (Account.png). Open it and select "favorites". You should see your article/s there. This also allows you to create and name lists to categorize your favorites. For instance, create a list named "Dovetails" and you can save all your favorite articles pertaining to dovetails there. I think this is a relatively new feature that showed up when they added the Account info pull-down.
