I have a chance to by a used Felder band saw 17” actual cutting with for $1500.00. It looks just like the Laguna. My question is, anybody know if the same company makes them both?
If so are they the same?

Best way to find out would be to ask on the Felder users group on Yahoo. I think, though can't recall 100%, that the Felder is made by Aganazzi (spelling) the Italian company. John Renzetti and some others on the Felder group know the details and have compared the Laguna to the Felder.
