When living in Victoria , British Columbia ,we had almost 80 members in our woodworking association.In Toronto,while there was not a formal club,informal meetings occurred all the time.I am moving now from Bonita Springs Florida ,NO woodworking association ,to near Rumson New Jersey.Anyone know of a group in that area.You can see my furniture on carolynprue.com.Thanks ,Paul Starita

Not sure what you consider close by. There are active groups in Delaware. The First State Woodturners meets at the New Castle Woodcraft store. So does the DE Woodworkers Guild. It's about an hour and a half from Rumson. BTW, New Castle is your closest Woodcraft store. They are very helpful and can recommend sources for lumber etc. And sales tax free shopping is also cool.
New Castle, DE is also the US HQ for Felder Equipment... they may have information on the remnants of the Felder's Owners Group - a passionate bunch when it was active.
