I’ll admit I have come to like “Green” but always, most always, exercise restraint. But at my local supplier I saw that Festool has a special ‘closeout sale’ on the TDK 12 Kit for $195.
The sale was supposed to end on September 1st which would indicate it was not totally successful.
Has anyone had experience with this drill or the 15.6 volt model?

Hello,
I have the 15.6 and I am going today to pick up a close out 12v for my tool bag and keep the 15.6 in the shop.
As far as Festool, there is no better power tool manufactured today and no better company backing them.
I hope this helps,....and no I am not a Festool employee.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I agree with your opinion of Festool quality.I'm confused by the ad material. Does the TDK use regular drill bits or are you required to use hex shank bits?Frosty"I sometimes think we consider the good fortune of the early bird and overlook the bad fortune of the early worm."
