I need to find an adapter that will connect my vac hose (2 1/4″ OD) to my new track saw. Tried 2 so far that did not fit. Anyone know what to get to accomplish this?? Thanks

Duct tape to bridge any gaps between what you currently have works well enough I find, though can be a pain if you have to swap the hose between tools a fair amount
You'll probably find something here:

I went through this. Ended up getting the "cheaper" grey festool hose and used it with a dust deputy. It's a frustrating endeavor otherwise--tape, adapter, adapter and tape. It works but only so well.
I have two Festool dust collectors that present the same problem and have taped adapters to achieve a connection.
I have found that using hockey stick tape provides a more flexible and durable connection than other types of tape.
I bought this comes with various adapters which fit my Festool track saw
Cen-Tec Systems 94698 Quick Click 10 Ft. Hose for Home and Shop Vacuums with Expanded Multi-Brand Power Tool Adapter Set for Dust Collection, Silver https://a.co/d/3hRv5oX
I don’t know who the seller was, but at work we bought a 3D printed adapter for a couple different tools from a guy on Etsy that made some models for adapting festool hoses to tools of just about any brand. Worth a google search
Another approach is to make your own adapters using fiberglass. You will need some fiberglass and some epoxy available from West Marine.
Here are some photos of two I have made.
In the case of the shop vac hose connected to 2" white PVC:
1. Wrap some packing tape around the component you want to disconnect from the adapter; in this case the fitting on the shop vac hose fitting
2. Apply a tiny amount of Vaseline, oil, or similar mold release to packing tape
3. Cut fiberglass into ~2” strips and long enough for 2-3 wraps, and impregnate with epoxy using something like an old credit card for a spreader.
4. Position the components so they abut one another.
5. Wrap the impregnated epoxy around both components, and let the epoxy cure.
6. After the epoxy cures, remove the shop vac hose fitting. If it does not come right out, it might help to heat it a little with a hair dryer.
Once you get all the material, it is pretty straight forward.
