The joinery that I have used on my large box is a thru dovetail and there are some very small gaps in the joint. Is there anyway or anything that I can use or make to fill in these gaps to produce a smooth looking joint.
I await your reply and Thank You in advance for any help or suggestions that you may be able to offer.

The trick that I learned years ago from Tage Frids first book is to flatten a piece of veneer (with a hammer on an anvil- you want to compress it). Force some glue into the void and slip the veneer in. The moisture from the glue will swell the veneer thicker which will fill the gap. Trim the veneer flush with a chisel.
Try it on a test dovetail first!!
