Everyone,
I’m getting ready to lay reclaimed white oak flooring in a bedroom. The wood is very old and rustic, with some knot holes, worm holes and voids. Once the wood is down, what should I fill these voids with? I was thinking I’d just use epoxy, but is there a particular kind of epoxy that would be best? Also, how does epoxy sand up? Just wondering if I should fill the holes before or after I sand the flooring.
Thank you!

When filling holes in wood my experience was that I usually get a better match if I do the filling after the first coat og varnish. If I apply the filler to the raw wood the filler leaves a lighter mark around the filled patch unless you manage to sand very deep after filling.
