For all of my cutting boards and segmented bowls I finish them with a mix of mineral oil and beeswax. I’m making a bunch of boards that will be used for rolling out dough for bread and pasta. Would you put the same finish on them or leave it raw. Thanks for your help.

I finish the ones I make as well as the rolling pins out of mineral oil only, it will stay for the time it’s on the shelf and wear rapidly after use so the user can then put his own prefered finish without having to deal with the wax leftovers.
I like Mike Mahoney's Walnut Oil.
I have been using a hard maple board for years. I use flour, scrape it clean when I am done.
I sand them up to the highest grit I can find - 1500 or more. Nice polished look.
I used nothing on my bread bench (14 years now) , just sanded it to a very high grit 1 k I think. I make bread daily and as long as it is kept dry, scraped clean with your dough scraper you should be fine. If it seems slightly damp I will throw a dust of flour on it and scrape it off to pick up the moisture.
Thanks for your help!
