Finding router lift for old Craftsman router
I have an old Craftsman fixed base router that runs like a charm but is a pain in the butt to make height adjustments on. I have long wanted to mount it on a router table with a lift but the model number is never included in any list associated with new router lifts. Any tips for finding one that will fit the motor body? Model is in attached photo if that helps! Thanks!

You want to know the motor diameter. 4.14" and 4.2" are a couple for example. Oops, the picture just showed up. That trigger in the grip is going to be an issue. Does the motor even come free from the base? If so you can put on a new cord. Still need the motor diameter.
I rather doubt you will find a lift for that. It really wasn't designed to be in a lift, or even a table. And a decent lift will cost a lot more than the router did.
I think John is probably right. The motor also has to be a certain length to work.
If the motor can come out, is of sufficient dimensions to fit a lift, you could rewire the cord to an external switch.
