Has anyone had difficulties receiving their printed copy of Fine Woodworking. Over the last year, I have had to call customer service at least 3 time to request a copy and only one time did my subscription copy arrive but 2 months later. My March/April 2023 issue has not arrived yet but I was able to receive a copy from customer service in one week. Could it be because I am a Canadian subscriber and sending mail across the border has been a challenge.

I reside in the US and have been unable to receive the printed magazine through regular mailings. Customer service has sent me missing issues upon request. After some investigation, they recently reported that my name was missing from a database used to distribute the magazine. I hope that fixes the problem, but time will tell.
billc1951, I too am Canadian, on the west coast, and can very much share your frustration with the magazine delivery. I always see a new issue on the news stand at least three weeks before I get mine. One time when it was even later i called customer service and they said they would send another but after another two weeks I bought the last available copy off a magazine rack. Two weeks later the replacement came, covered in customs labels, and some time later I finally got the original.
I believe ours come from a distribution centre in Ontario someplace. Maybe FWW could have a chat with them.
Once again I cannot receive my digital copy. I have emailed Customer Support, and no reply. What a surprise! Anything digital has become too much effort to keep up.

Derek, I feel your pain. I had 65 digital issues disappear from my iPad. It took a while but I finally got them back along with the latest issues. Jake Meredith was the guy who fixed my problems. He was responsive to my emails and followed through on his end.
Here's his contact info, give him a try, and good luck.

Canadian Woodworking magazine appears to have figured out how to ship to US customers like me. Perhaps FWW should ring them up and consult. Or ask Vic, didn't he hold the editor's post at CW once upon a time?
It's funny you mention this. I was anxiously awaiting the recent issue of FWW and was checking my mailbox like a kid waiting for a Christmas package. Wasn't coming, wasn't coming, Ben must hate me, etc, etc. Then, I went to my PO Box rather than my mail box and there it was. Odd, about 3 years ago, during Covid, I had switched FWW from my PO Box to my front door mail box as that was really the only thing I wanted from the mail. I don't know why this one issue went to the PO Box this time as I didn't change anything. Something happened on FWW end. Wonder if something like that happened to you on this recent issue. Curious if there was a spike at FWW in terms of requests for issues that didn't arrive in the mail and due to what I observed.
Thank you for your feedback. We have verified with our distributor that subscription copies to Canada are indeed shipping. Please contact Customer Service directly to confirm that we have your correct address on file. We will be happy to send replacement copies if needed. They can be reached via email at [email protected] or by calling 866-452-5141 (outside the US and Canada call 847-559-7522). In the meantime, please also check in with your local post office to be sure there isn't an issue on their end. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
Issues normally arrive late for me as well, east coast Canada.
I just received #301 2 weeks ago and #300 2 days prior.
#302 came in normal time, still always way after it hits the stands.
It's still on news stands in Canada? It hasn't been available on news stands in the US at all, for at least a couple of years.
Oh no! We let the cat out of the bag!
Being in Australia, I've given up on the printed copy about 3 years ago. Hardly ever arrived, so I dumped my subscription down to digital only.
Ironically, two things keep happening.
(1) The website keeps encouraging me to become an Unlimited member (I figure being on the top tier digital subscription, I was)?
(2) I keep getting emails to "Please come back and join us again". I swear I can see online that my subscription is current through to October 2023!
*shakes head*
Left hand doesn't appear to know what the right is doing - still.
Recent site changes are good, it's less annoying now than it used to be - but a lot of work still to be done in my humble opinion!
I also am missing physical issues as well as being bombarded with “Upgrades” messages as an approximately $100, annual Physical plus Digital subscriber.
