Hey Will ,
Yeah that could be interesting , we could holler back and forth instantly. Or better yet if there was some sort of instant messaging on this site similar to msn .You could see who's on and fire away .It would make for an interesting venue don't you think .
FYI - there's a woodworking channel on IRC. Attach to any efnet server and /join #woodworking.
Huh? Translation?
Works for me.
What would we chant? "Nam yo ho renge kyo" or "Om mani padme hum"?
Oh, sorry. I thought you said chant room.
We already have a rant room...
That one took me back a decade or three, Unc.Had a housemate that was into that once.Anyone with AIM should be able to log into FWW Chat if I did it correctly.Make sure your sign-on is listed in your buddy list, click on to Chat. When the window opens up, insert your sign-on in the invite section, change the chat invite to FWW Chat and send. This should open the chat window.Save it to your desktop by clicking on File in the chat window, then click on Create Shortcut, this will place a shortcut to the room on your desktop, next time all you'll have to do is sign on to AIM then click the shortcut. Chat window should open up.I'm listed as RMLWJ1 on AIM.Lets see if it works.Leon Jester
Say Uncle ,
We could chant , please let my 1/2" plywood cabinets stay together till I get paid .
We tried this a couple of years ago. It never flew.
If you want to try it again I will offer you the use of a chat room that is still on my site.
http://www.furniturecarver.com/chat.html Use a pop-up stopper, there's a pop up or two that comes along with this program.
WoodCentral has a fairly active chatroom. I hosted the furniture making chat for a couple of years.
