I’m looking for suggestions on the finish for double hung windows made from Mah. Southern and Eastern exposure with fair amount of rain and wind in the winter. Warm summers located on SF bay.
I’m not looking to stain the wood, only seal it.
thanks

Walter,
I would highly recommend Interlux Goldspar 95 which is a one part polyurethane varnish or Interlux Schooner Varnish 96 which is a spar varnish. Epifanes Clear Varnish, spar varnish, or Epifanes Polyurethane Clear would also be excellent choices. Their poly is a two part.
You will find that the Epifanes is a little more expensive than the Interlux. Both are available at your local marina or chandlery.
