We’ve had a new house built with Loewen doug fir windows. I’ll be installing trim and finishing. The Waterlox tung oil product looks nice on the upstairs birch flooring (due to learning curve and construction traffic, the downstairs beech doesn’t look as nice, I may need to re-apply next summer).
Can we expect the Waterlox product to hold up well against the (more direct) sunlight? If anyone has used Waterlox for a similar application, what’s the best way for removing this oil from the interior glass?
Thanks,

Waterlox makes products for exterior use that contain UV inhibitors. For windows where sunlight is present, exterior products should be used. Just avoid any product containing polyurethane as UV rapidly destroys the finish. Use standard oil based varnishes.

Thank you for the input. We have "Low-E" glass - have you used the Waterlox product on interior window trim and muntins? (It's now time to apply the product when we can "air the house out".)
