I am about to build a picnic table and would like some opinion’s
about finishes. I am building it out of pine. A Workbench article
recommends using Penofin oil instead of spar varnish or ploy finishes
because it is more easy reapplyed and doesn’t crack. (I hope spar varnish
doesn’t crack because I just used it on the railing on my pool fence)
I have never heard of Penofin oil but have used McCluskys Spar Varnish and
shellac. Any ideas?
Thanks
