We recently purchased a 1905 bungalow. All interior doors are redwood with many layers of paint. I’ve stripped one of the doors, and plan to do an oxalic acid wash to brighten it up a bit.

Given that it’s a door (albeit a spare bedroom closet door) and may receive some abuse over time, what’s your recommendation for a finish? A few layers of tung oil or danish oil?
