Has anyone used this product to finish WALNUT? There is an article in a recent issue of FW that talks about using it to finish cherry and I would think that the same procedures would apply. Any ‘lessons-learned would be appreciated.

Are you going to use a grain filler on the walnut?
*As far as I know, T&T is a polymerized oil product, not an oil/varnish product. Polymerizing an oil will make it cure faster but does not change the basic appearence and protective qualities. As such, it can make a nice looking finish but it would not be durable enough for a surface that will get some usage. Nor does it have much water or water vapor protection.
