yes, you can. just wait a good long time for the linseed to cure. give it a good week or two, the longer the better...

*Why would you do that? Linseed gives a nice color to SOME woods, though it prematurely darkens others, but build with it before lacquer? Slosh some one, wipe, let sit for 24 hours and spray. I fail to see how more linseed coats will help the finish in color or final appearance, but i could certainly stand to learn something new. Scott, whatcha got?
Actually, I got nothin'. I wasn't paying close enough attention to the original post, and just assumed that he was asking about applying a coat or two of linseed for depth and color, and then building with lacquer. Colleen's right, it makes no sense, why would you do that?
