Any suggestions for fixing a burn from a frying pan on an oak table? It’s a retail store bought table with an assembly line finish put on it. Any hints??? Thanks…

First, a bunch of questions:
Is the burn mark a dark ring where the heat has actually scorched the wood?
Are you completely sure that this is solid oak, and not oak veneer?
Is the finish "natural" or has the wood been stained? Have the pores of the oak been filled?
Does the table match other things like chairs or a sideboard.
How old is the table.
