I have flocked several small trays and did not get an even finish. How can I correct this.

Hi Barney,
I have some experience with flocking ... make sure you have enough adhesive on the surface and that it is spread evenly but thick. Then blow the flocking on it until you are sure it's completely covered - then blow a bunch more. I've had good results doing that.

Thanks for the input. I thought that I did it corectly but apparently did not. Can you go back and reglue and then add more flocking material. Thanks again Barney
Hi Barney,
I don't really know ... I've never tried it. I would think you might be able to except it will be "heavier" feeling because it's thicker. I would perhaps try it on a scrap piece of wood and see before committing yourself to the piece. It might be marginally acceptable to you now but if this doesn't work you don't want to ruin it.

That sounds like what I should do . I made three small chest. Miniture Blanket chests from cherry and they look nice. Each one has three trays for jewlery ,so would like for them to be as nice as possible. I suppose I did not get the glue on properly, To thin in places.
